The prism lab

The PRISM Lab at Fordham University advances quantitative research through the development, evaluation, and application of statistical methods, with a particular emphasis on psychometrics and latent variable modeling in the psychological, behavioral, and social sciences.

• Latent variable and psychometric modeling, including generalized structural equation modeling, cognitive diagnosis modeling, factor analysis, and item response theory

• Bayesian statistical methods, including Bayesian inference, estimation, and prediction

• Latent class and mixture modeling

• Psychological and educational measurement, including measurement invariance, differential item functioning, and computerized adaptive testing

• Statistical estimation theory and methods, with an emphasis on psychometric models
